Lourah: Music

Blue Sky Indifference

(Lourah)
November 16, 2009
Written and Performed by Leah Brooke Conway-Corso
When people get too sure of themselves, they stop paying attention. This song is my realization that nothing is fare, nothing makes sense and I don't have any of "the" answers. Accepting this has made me happier than I’ve ever been my whole life-so far :)
Fortress down, it got built up way too high and then it
tumbled down at the slightest of blows

Underground, where the trees all take their hold I'm goin
underground to the quiet

Stake your need splay it out
scrimp and gorge 'fore the drought
pray for death oh not your own
fall sinners down before the throne

Suffer hard for your life a noble cause so telling
carve a cross into your bedpost

grieve your loss but make amends with all your ghosts
invite them to your room, this mortal circus

Stake your need splay it out
scrimp and gorge 'fore the drought
pray for death oh not your own
fall sinners down before the throne

Fortress gone, stone walls gave way to life unsound unspoken
truth runs deep, blue sky indifference

fortress gone, gone
fear builds feeble walls
gone, gone,
fear and you will fall
gone, gone
